Mount Bromo is a part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, East Java, Indonesia that covers a massive area of 800 square kilometers. It is the only active volcano inside the park. With its 2,329m it not the highest peak of the massif but is easily recognized as the entire top has been blown off and the crater inside constantly emits white sulfurous smoke.
This night shot I captured after spending the full night at on of the view points of the park. Camera settings: f2.8/, ISO 1600, 30s exposure followed by minor light adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop.
